Double – ended bolts are special fasteners with threads at both ends. With a smooth shank in the middle, they can penetrate thick components and achieve fastening at both ends. Widely used in mechanical equipment, building steel structures, chemical pipelines, and other fields, they are especially suitable for scenarios where frequent disassembly is required or components are too thick for ordinary bolts.
Carbon steel double – ended bolts are mostly made of materials such as 45 steel and 40Cr. However, they are prone to rust in humid, acidic and alkaline environments, and surface treatments such as galvanizing and blackening are required to enhance their anti – corrosion ability. Stainless steel double – ended bolts are often made of 304, 316 and other materials, with excellent corrosion resistance. They can remain stable for a long time even in harsh environments such as seaside and chemical plants, and have good mechanical properties. Although they are more expensive, they can significantly reduce the frequency of maintenance and replacement, showing significant advantages in projects with high requirements for durability and reliability.
